Our Story

Co-founders and cousins Brian Terra and Kevin Barnes grew up close through their Italian-American heritage, spending time at their grandparents’ home where food, games, and family were central. Over time, life pulled them apart, but after their grandparents passed away, they reconnected—bonding again over craft beer during Brian’s visits to San Diego, where Kevin was pursuing brewing. Inspired by their renewed friendship and shared love of hops, they pledged to start a brewery together. Ten years later, now husbands and fathers, their tastes evolved toward flavorful but lower-ABV beers, including European-inspired ales and lagers. Their brewery is built on the idea of big flavor, small ABV, honoring family, heritage, and their shared journey.
